Nufurn Commercial Furniture have had the pleasure of supplying Iris Capital with gaming stools and furniture for many of their venues for over 5years so when Iris mentioned that they were buying Lasseters Casino   in Alice Springs, we got excited

Then we got a little bit nervous, over three hundred gaming stools to be delivered and installed to the middle of Australia within 3 - 4 months, wow.

“No problem” said Paul Kemp  our favourite Pub account manager. So Paul set about confirming the gaming stool style, fabric, base and mechanism. Iris decided to continue with the Sarava Gaming Stool which has been very popular in their other venues.

As Paul had promised, everything was going smoothly, the containers of gaming stools had landed in Darwin, the pallets of swivel mechanisms were on their way from Sydney, extra staff had been organised, skip bins booked then we heard the news that trains were delayed due to the floods in the Northern Territory. A few nail biting moments but the guys in Alice were amazing, they understood that we can not control the weather as much as we would like to.

Finally the big day arrived, Paul and Jon – Nufurn’s amazing On-Site Project Manager flew to Alice and spent four days assembling the gaming stools

 The boys finished their trip with a great day out at Alice Springs Turf Club and a well deserved beer
