Sometimes things work in mysterious ways. About 2 years ago, around the same time that we started working on a banquet chair solution for our good customer the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney, we were running a fun ad campaign for our Caversham Status Banquet chairs. The ad asked the question, “Having an unexpected guest drop in?’ and had the answer ‘We have a chair for that!’, along with a picture of the banquet chair with a Royal Crown and pair of white gloves sitting on the seat.

Who were we to know that 2 years later, that would actually be the case. Earlier this month, the ever popular Prince Harry floated into Sydney amid a buzz of excitement. And where did he stay? At the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney of course. Who would have thought that while we were still designing the banquet chair for the hotel in late 2011, that they would indeed have an unexpected royal guest drop in. It fills us with great joy to know that the Prince and all of the accompanying dignified guests, enjoyed the incredible comfort of our Pinnacle flex back banquet chairs, during their stay.
