General Product Care and Maintenance
Nufurn warranties cover the structural integrity of frames, shells and table bases, under normal use in the intended environment. All fabrics are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Please see www.nufurn.com.au for the full terms of sale and warranty information.
Nufurn only recommend the following structural materials for outdoor use and/or for environments that are within 3km of the ocean, even if they are being used indoors: Aluminium, 304 or 316 Stainless Steel, VT powder coated Steel, UV stabilized resins and plastics, hardwood timbers like Teak, spotted gum or Jarrah and tabletops treated for outdoor use such as Werzalit tabletops. Only some upholstery fabrics are suitable for outdoor use.
Fabric Care
Spot clean only: Remove any solids or soak any liquid from fabric surface as soon as possible. DO NOT scrub fabric with a stiff or abrasive brush. Use a spot dry cleaning agent in strict accordance with application instructions. For pile fabrics, vacuum gently to restore pile.
Vinyl Care
Remove any solids as soon as possible. Use a soft cloth or sponge that has been soaked in mild soapy water to clean vinyl. Once area is restored, dry with a clean cloth. In the case of stubborn stains, use a well known brand vinyl cleaner. Regular (3-6 monthly), gentle cleaning of the vinyl may enhance its longevity.
Always Remember: Dry all fabric away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not use solvent type materials or cleansers. Spot clean removable fabric covers as per indoor fabrics / vinyl’s. Never machine wash any upholstery fabrics.
Raw Timber
We recommend Feast Watson Furniture Oil. Not to be used on timber that has already been sealed with a varnish or PU coating. A protective, penetrating oil, with UV, water, fungi and mould resistant properties, Feast Watson Outdoor Furniture Oil is specifically formulated to preserve and maintain the natural look of raw timber. Apply as required when timber appears to be dry. General time frame for oil application can be every 6 months.
Stainless Steel Cleaning and Maintenance
Frequent cleaning will prolong the life of stainless steel. Rinse with clean fresh water and dry thoroughly. Remove ordinary stains with a soft cloth, mild soap and warm water. For stubborn stains, we recommend using ‘Cyndan Sentry’ 2 stage stainless steel cleaner
Resin Folding Chairs, Plastic Stacking Chairs and Plastic Café Chairs
Use a soft cloth or sponge that has been soaked in mild soapy water to clean resin. Wipe down afterwards with a clean, detergent free, dry cloth.
